Parasites in the gut are more common than we think. This year we have seen a lot more parasites than previously recorded across the industry.
What is a parasite and what do they eat?
Gut parasites are tiny organisms that live in the intestines, feeding off the nutrients we consume. Some common types include tapeworms, roundworms, hookworms and giardia. These parasites are incredibly resilient; they survive by attaching to the intestinal walls, absorbing nutrients, and laying eggs daily. They thrive on foods that create an acidic, unhealthy environment in the gut, such as refined carbs, processed foods, sugary foods and sometimes even blood from the intestinal lining.
The physical and emotional damage
Physically; parasites can cause symptoms like bloating, gas, constipation, diarrhoea, skin issues, and nutrient deficiencies. They often leave us feeling fatigued, as they steal essential nutrients from our food. Parasites also affect mental health. They produce toxins that can cause brain fog, anxiety, irritability, and even disrupt our sleep, leading to an overall decline in mental well-being.
How to kill a parasite ?
The best way to get rid of parasites involves a multi-step approach combining an elimination diet with targeted herbs and a series of colonics. It can take 4-8 weeks to clear out parasites and their eggs.
Elimination Diet: Remove all sugary and processed foods, which parasites love. Instead, focus on whole foods like vegetables, healthy fats, lean proteins, herbs and fibre. Fibre foods help move parasites and their eggs out of the gut.
Herbal Cleanse: Use anti-parasitic herbs like black walnut, wormwood, and clove to kill parasites and their eggs. These herbs weaken and remove parasites from the digestive system.
Digestive Cleanse: Support the elimination process with regular bowel cleansing, such as colon hydrotherapy, to flush out any remaining parasites and toxins. We recommend a series of 3 colonics during the cleanse on day 1, day 5 and day 10-12. Then a break of 7-10 days and repeat the herbal cleanse and another series of colonics.
Reintroduce Probiotics: After cleansing, introduce probiotics and prebiotic and probiotic foods to rebuild the gut with healthy bacteria, restoring balance and preventing future infestations.
